Your Responsibilities

You will be the first point of contact for accounting issues in projects.
In addition, you will work with the international accounting team to carry out the necessary activities for the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements as well as annual audits and, if necessary, tax audits and keep an eye on the continuous improvement of our accounting processes and systems and support their implementation.

• Collaboration and representation of Accounting in bank-wide projects.
• Independent creation of accounting logic and clarification of accounting mapping of special issues.
• Coordination of accounting projects, e.g. introduction of new tools.
• Optimisation and digitalisation of accounting and financial processes.
• Assisting with the preparation of monthly IFRS reporting and the annual financial statements in accordance with the German Commercial Code (HGB).

Your Profile

• You have a successfully completed degree and/or a completed commercial apprenticeship.
• You have at least 5 years of professional experience in financial accounting or accounting, preferably at a bank.
• You have several years of professional experience in the preparation and auditing of financial statements, ideally at a bank or auditing firm.
• You have a very independent, structured, analytical and goal-orientated way of working.
• You have very good knowledge of the German Commercial Code (HGB) and ideally knowledge of IFRS.
• You are experienced in using the ERP system ‘Oracle NetSuite’ or a comparable ERP system.
• Knowledge of the core banking system Mambu is an advantage.
• You are confident in using modern communication and organisational tools such as Zoom, Slack, Google G-Suite.
• Fluent written and spoken English and German round off your profile.

Deine Aufgaben

Du bist die erste Ansprechperson in Projekten für Accounting Themen.
Daneben wirst du mit dem internationalen Accounting Team notwendige Tätigkeiten bei Monatsabschluss- und Jahresabschlusserstellung sowie Jahresabschlussprüfungen und ggf. bei Steuerprüfungen übernehmen und die ständige Verbesserung unserer Prozesse und Systeme im Accounting im Blick haben und bei deren Implementierung unterstützen.

• Mitarbeit und Repräsentation des Accountings in bankweiten Projekten.
• Selbständige Erstellung von Buchungslogiken und Klärung von bilanziellen Abbildung von Sondersachverhalten.
• Koordinierung von Projekten im Accounting, z.B. Einführung neuer Tools.
• Optimierung und Digitalisierung von Buchführungs- und Finanzprozessen.
• Mitwirkung bei der Erstellung des monatlichen IFRS-Reportings sowie des jährlichen Einzelabschlusses nach HGB.

Dein Profil

• Du hast ein erfolgreich abgeschlossenes Studium und/ oder eine abgeschlossene kaufmännische Ausbildung.
• Du hast mindestens 5 Jahre Berufserfahrung in der Finanzbuchhaltung oder im Rechnungswesen, vorzugsweise bei einer Bank.
• Du bringst mehrjährige Berufserfahrung in der Abschlusserstellung bzw. -Prüfung, idealerweise bei einer Bank oder einer WP-Gesellschaft mit.
• Du hast eine sehr selbständige, strukturierte, analytische und zielorientierte Arbeitsweise.
• Du verfügst über sehr gute Kenntnisse des deutschen HGBs und hast idealerweise Kenntnisse des IFRS.
• Du bist erfahren im Umgang mit dem ERP-System «Oracle NetSuite» oder mit einem vergleichbaren ERP-System.
• Kenntnisse über das Kernbankensystem Mambu sind von Vorteil.
• Du bist sicher im Umgang mit modernen Kommunikations- und Organisationstools sowie z. B. Zoom, Slack, Google G-Suite.
• Fließende Englisch- und Deutschkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift runden Dein Profil ab.
