Activity:

• Design and develop 3D models of exterior and interior lighting devices, ensuring compliance with project targets, norms, and regulations.
• Coordinate technical changes, assess proposals, and implement necessary modifications based on virtual collision checks and optic simulations.
• Develop package solutions for lighting devices, prepare change requests, and maintain alignment with surrounding parts through DMU and concept reviews.
• Create and execute test plans, prepare test reports, and calibrate brightness levels of interior ambient light devices.
• Conduct root cause analysis, prepare tests to confirm solutions, and collaborate with suppliers to resolve issues.
• Prepare technical documents, benchmark analyses, and best practice/lesson learned documents, and define PDM layouts and BOM implementations.

Requirements

• Education:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or other related field.

• Experience:
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in automotive lighting development.

• Technical Skills:
• Strong knowledge of lighting technologies and development processes.

• Experience with automotive lighting regulations and standards.
• Knowledge of CATIA V5, Windchill
• Knowledge of optical design and simulation software will be considered a plus (Lucidshape, Optis Speos).
• Soft Skills:
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills to interact with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
