For our client, an International MedTech company with an important site in Chur, Grisons/Switzerland, we are looking for a

Consolidation & Reporting Expert 80 - 100 % (6067)

in a permanent role, Swiss work permit/EU citizenship required.

Tasks

• Responsible for preparing the consolidated financial statements in accordance with Swiss GAAP FER
• Responsible for overall consolidation process and review of inter-company transactions and profit eliminations, ownership of the consolidated trial balance
• Coordinate, manage, and support monthly/annual consolidation close activities for timeliness, accuracy, and completeness
• Participate in implementation/maintenance/upgrade of financial consolidation and reporting systems to ensure compliance with Swiss GAAP FER and management requirements
• Work with accounting to ensure accuracy and compliance with Swiss GAAP FER
• Involved in identifying, documenting, and implementing changes to Group reporting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with Swiss GAAP FER requirements
• Develop, update, and maintain comprehensive accounting manuals that outline company policies, procedures, and standards in alignment with Swiss GAAP FER
• Develop and update the preparation of notes to the financial statements for the annual report
• Manage and support external audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and providing necessary documentation and explanations

That’s what you bring along:

• Accountant or a comparable qualification and at least 7-10 years of relevant experience in accounting, preferably in medium to large-sized companies
• Great knowledge of accounting, bookkeeping and taxation
• Confident handling of Microsoft Office especially Excel
• Proficient in working with ERP systems ideally Microsoft D365
• Great English communication skills (written & spoken)
• Used to working independently, yet a team player and convincing with your communication skills.
