Deine Aufgaben

• Warenkreditversicherung: Beantragung von Kreditlimits und Meldungen an Warenkreditversicherer, Sicherstellung der Einhaltung vertraglicher Obliegenheiten.
• Forderungsmanagement: Zusammenarbeit mit Anwälten / Inkassobüros sowie Eskalation von Überfälligkeiten (Überwachung offener Aufträge, Sperren von Kunde, Versenden von Mahnungen).
• Proaktive Lösungsfindung: Entwickeln innovativer Ansätze mit Kunden und Vertrieb zur schnellen Begleichung offener Forderungen.
• Risikomanagement: Risikobeurteilung und Entscheidung, Beurteilung von Jahresabschlüssen unserer internationalen Geschäftspartner, Garantieverwaltung.
• Management Reporting: Überfälligkeiten- und Risiko-Reporting an die Geschäftsleitung.
• Strategische Prozessoptimierung: Weiterentwicklung von Prozessen und Richtlinien im Kredit- und Risikomanagement.
• Zusammenarbeit/Projektarbeit: Enge Abstimmung mit Vertrieb und anderen Fachbereichen zur Maximierung von Geschäftsmöglichkeiten und Mitarbeit bei Projekten zur Verbesserung interner Geschäftsabläufe.

Dein Profil

• Abgeschlossenes Studium mit dem Schwerpunkt Finanzen oder eine vergleichbare Ausbildung und entsprechende Weiterbildung z.B. zum Controller/Bilanzbuchhalter, Weiterbildung im Kredit- oder Analysebereich (z.B. CFA, CCrA, CIIA) wünschenswert
• Berufserfahrung im Bereich Credit Risk Management idealerweise in einem international tätigen mittelständischen Industrie- oder Handelsunternehmen
• Kommunikative Persönlichkeit, die als Sparringspartner für den internationalen Vertrieb fungiert und nach Möglichkeiten sucht mehr Geschäft zu ermöglichen und Risiken zu reduzieren.
• Kenntnisse der nationalen und internationalen Rechnungslegung und Bilanzanalyse
• Kenntnisse einer ERP-Software (idealerweise SAGE 100) und gute Excel-Kenntnisse
• Sehr gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift, weitere Sprachkenntnisse (z.B. Spanisch) von Vorteil
• Eine schnelle Auffassungsgabe, analytisches Denkvermögen sowie eine strukturierte und genaue Arbeitsweise
• Erfahren im Umgang in einem interkulturellen Umfeld

Your mission

• Trade Credit Insurance: Application for credit limits and reporting to trade credit insurers, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.
• Receivables Management: Collaboration with lawyers/collection agencies and escalation of overdue payments (monitoring open orders, blocking customers, sending reminders).
• Proactive Solution Finding: Developing innovative approaches with customers and sales to quickly settle outstanding receivables.
• Risk Management: Risk assessment and decision-making, evaluation of annual financial statements of our international business partners, guarantee management.
• Management Reporting: Reporting of overdue accounts and risks to senior management.
• Strategic Process Optimization: Further development of processes and policies in credit and risk management.
• Collaboration/Project Work: Close coordination with sales and other departments to maximize business opportunities and participation in projects to improve internal business processes.

Your profile

• Completed degree with a focus on finance or a comparable qualification, along with relevant further education (e.g., Controller, Accountant) and additional training in credit or analysis (e.g., CFA, CCrA, CIIA) is desirable.
• Professional experience in Credit Risk Management, ideally in an internationally active medium-sized industrial or trading company.
• Communicative personality, capable of acting as a sparring partner for international sales, identifying opportunities to enable more business and reduce risks.
• Knowledge of national and international accounting standards and financial statement analysis.
• Familiarity with ERP software (ideally SAGE 100) and strong Excel skills.
• Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken; additional language skills (e.g., Spanish) are an advantage.
• Quick to grasp new concepts, with strong analytical thinking and a structured, precise working style.
• Experienced in working in a multicultural environment.
