Are you passionate about financial management and performance analysis? We are seeking a dynamic Finance Manager to join our headquarters in Darmstadt, Germany. In this crucial role, you will report directly to the CEO and be responsible for tracking the company’s key performance indicators (KPIs) and providing comprehensive financial reporting to support strategic decision-making.
Your profile
You thrive in analytical environments and possess a genuine passion for financial management and reporting. Key qualifications and attributes include:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related fields.
- Initial professional experience in financial management and reporting, preferably in a tech or manufacturing company.
- Proven expertise in KPI tracking, financial analysis, and reporting.
- Strong knowledge of financial principles, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication skills in both German and English.
- Solution-oriented mindset, reliability, and proactive approach to work.
- Initiative and autonomy in generating and implementing ideas.
Your Responsibilities Include:
KPI Tracking (70%):
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive system for tracking the company’s key performance indicators.
- Monitor financial and operational KPIs, providing regular updates to senior management.
- Analyze KPI trends and variances, identifying areas for improvement and potential risks.
- Collaborate with department heads to ensure accurate and timely data collection for KPI reporting.
- Prepare detailed KPI reports and dashboards for internal and external stakeholders.
Financial Reporting (30%):
- Prepare and present financial statements, budgets, and forecasts to the board of management.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and accounting standards in all reporting activities.
- Conduct financial analysis to support strategic planning and decision-making.
- Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on financial analysis and KPI trends.
