About us:
We are a leading company in the production and retail of construction accessories industry, developing and distributing innovative products. To strengthen our international team, we are looking for a dedicated Global Accountant to support our finance and accounting operations on a global scale.
Your main tasks:

• Preparation and auditing of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS for our international group subsidiaries.
• Participation in the consolidation of financial reports and preparation of management reports.
• Support and advice to the international subsidiaries in matters of accounting and reporting.
• Ensuring compliance with legal requirements, internal guidelines and IFRS standards.
• Support with budgeting as well as forecasting and planning processes.
• Participation in internal and external audits as well as strategic projects in the financial sector.
• Analysis of financial data to identify areas for improvement and support in the implementation of best practices.
• Optimization of processes

Your profile

• Balance sheet accounting, a degree in business administration, auditing or a comparable qualification with a focus on accounting/finance.
• At least 3 years of relevant professional experience in a comparable position.
• In-depth knowledge of international accounting standards, in particular IFRS and ideally US-GAAP.
• Closing experience and experience in the preparation of consolidated financial statements.
• Very good analytical skills and a detail-oriented way of working.
• Excellent communication skills in English (important for working with international teams).
• Ability to work in a team as well as independence and personal responsibility in the way of working.
• Confident handling of common ERP systems and MS Office, especially Excel.
