(Junior) Specialist (m/f/diverse) IT Systems - shift work

The Team is responsible for 24/7 monitoring of mission-critical applications and interfaces (including ground, crew and flight operations). You will be responsible for:

• Accompanying the technical responsibility and coordination in the event of software, database or network problems and initiating all measures for the fastest possible troubleshooting (including change, problem management and incident processing), if necessary also involving external providers
• Assistance in intervening in the systems in the event of complex processes (e.g. failure, faults in the system network, system changes or network changes) in order to restore normal operation immediately
• Support with log file analysis for troubleshooting or prevention
• Continuous communication to all affected parties
• Processing queries from the technical crew hotline
• Maintenance of operational documentation

Ihr Profil

You have completed your studies/vocational training and have IT knowledge as well as knowledge of network structures and firewalls. You are characterized by analytical skills, a structured and team-oriented way of working and have the following qualities:

• Knowledge of the architecture of IT systems, central peripherals and network topology
• Familiarity with LINUX
• Knowledge of the monitoring tools used (Nagios / Check_MK) is advantageous
• Knowledge of airline IT and knowledge of airline processes is advantageous
• Basic knowledge of change, problem and incident management
• Suitability for shift work and flexibility in shift work
• Willingness to innovate and willingness to undergo further training in the above-mentioned areas of responsibility
• Strong analytical skills as well as a structured and team-oriented way of working
• Very good communication skills and precise presentation of complex issues
• Strong service and customer orientation
• Very good written and spoken German and English skills
