Your role in our team

  • Witron Australia is now seeking Maintenance Engineers to join their team. The Maintenance Engineer is responsible for the ongoing optimization of plant availability and reliability, as well as the maintenance organization. You will focus on all plant and organizational aspects that have an impact on customer satisfaction and efficiency. The basis for the optimization tasks is information/data from systems and from operation/production, quality assurance, and maintenance. You will offer advice and support the maintenance functions on technical plant aspects, work content, and work processes, as well as maintenance methods/techniques and work equipment.
  • The general objective of the Maintenance Engineer is therefore to ensure system availability/reliability in line with requirements, and to maintain the system substance while minimizing maintenance and downtime costs and complying with all relevant customer-related and legal requirements.
  • Ongoing analysis of plant/MDE data and shift reports and assessment of occurring plant malfunctions/failures.
  • Comparing the fault/failure analyses with the current preventive maintenance strategies/measures.
  • Carrying out weak point identification/analyses (including analyzing fault patterns, identifying the causes of faults/failures).
  • Analysis of the processes and work content of maintenance measures and plant-related project tasks (e.g. refurbishment, conversion, revision, modernization) and identification of weak points (incl. their effects on plant availability/reliability, plant substance, and economic efficiency).
  • Derivation, initiation, and documentation of measures to eliminate weak points (concerns technical and organizational improvement measures, such as plant modifications, adaptation of maintenance strategies, qualification of maintenance personnel).
  • Definition and introduction of preventive or condition-oriented maintenance strategies/measures with suitable maintenance techniques (e.g. condition monitoring techniques for condition monitoring) and maintenance methods (e.g. use of plant data for predictive forecasting models).
  • Creating or revising maintenance and inspection plans and optimizing them on an ongoing basis (in terms of content, timing, and interval of activities) in coordination with the Maintenance Planner.
  • Carrying out profitability assessments for plant projects (major repairs, revisions, optimization, refurbishment, modernization), as well as planning, coordinating, and monitoring their content.
  • Maintenance and ongoing updating of performance and cost analyses (in the form of key figures, reports), as well as technical documentation (in coordination with the Maintenance Planner) Counselling and support

Ideal candidate profile

  • Tertiary qualification from a technical college or secondary school with a technical focus (e.g. HTBLA, foreman) - preferably electrical engineering, measurement, and control technology, or mechatronics.
  • Proven professional experience in the areas of maintenance / technical service / project planning / technology for at least 3 years. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to build and foster strong internal and external stakeholder relationships.

Sous la responsabilité du Responsable de site et la coordination du Superviseur maintenance, le Chef d’équipe maintenance est garant de la réalisation conforme des activités de maintenance. Il encadre pour cela une équipe de techniciens et coordonne leurs activités
Maintenance :

  • Gérer une équipe de techniciens et les objectifs quotidiens de maintenance
  • Gérer, organiser, prioriser les actions de maintenance curative et préventive en coordination avec la production
  • Participer activement dans les équipes et optimiser les procédures de manière continue
  • Communiquer efficacement avec l'équipe de maintenance, l’équipe production du client et vos responsables hiérarchiques
  • Escalation

Administration :

  • Renseigner et exploiter les rapports quotidiens sur la base des objectifs de maintenance et des KPI
  • Assurer la planification des équipes en prenant en compte les pauses, absences, congés, etc… afin d’assurer à tout moment une occupation suffisante
  • Participer à la conception et à la mise en œuvre de formations et de plans de formation continue
  • Organiser et assurer des passations claires et efficaces entre équipes
  • Être garant du bon déroulement des opérations au sein de son équipe
  • Ouverture et suivi des tickets de remontées d'anomalies

Qualifications :

  • Formation technique : Bac Pro, BTS, DUT en maintenance industrielle, électrotechnique, mécanique
  • Vous justifiez d’une expérience significative en maintenance industrielle avec au moins une première expérience réussie en gestion d’équipe maintenance
  • Vous justifiez d'une expérience en tant que technicien de maintenance chez Witron depuis minimum 6 mois
  • Des compétences en anglais sont un plus.
