ROLE PURPOSE
To facilitate and coordinate Agile Scrum processes within Glory, ensuring the company can work collaboratively and efficiently to deliver high-quality solutions using Agile principles and practices. You will keep the team organized and on track by hosting daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning meetings, and sprint reviews etc. Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Serves as coach and mentor; fostering a culture of continuous improvement that ensures the team consistently meets its objectives.
- Facilitate/coordinate Agile Scrum processes within Glory; daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning, sprint review, and sprint retrospective.
- Guides/coaches team on Agile Scrum principles/practices; promoting continuous improvement through retrospectives and feedback sessions
- Ensure the team works collaboratively and efficiently to deliver high-quality products.
- Identify and troubleshoot obstacles that hinder team progress.
- Communicates project status, risks and issues to stakeholders.
- Ensure that Glory Quality Assurance guidelines are followed.
- Works closely with Glory Quality Assurance department.
- Track KPIs and help the team to deliver high-quality products/solutions on time.
- Ensure team follows Scrum framework and adheres to Agile principles; removing barriers between stakeholders and Scrum Teams
EDUCATION, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Scrum Master.
- Strong knowledge of Agile Scrum principles and practices.
- Ability to lead and facilitate Scrum ceremonies.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
- General conceptual understanding of programming and DB querying.
- Certification in Agile methodologies; Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM).
- SAFe certification and Kanban certification (desirable but not essential).
- Prior knowledge of Agile project management tools, such as Jira or Trello.
