Job Description

The Security and Risk Management Specialist (m/f/diverse) is responsible for implementing and managing the security strategies in the areas of risk management, crisis and emergency management, travel security as well as threat management. This role involves developing and implementing security strategies, conducting risk assessments, and coordinating responses to security incidents. As a generalist role, the Security & Risk Management Specialist will handle a broad range of security-related tasks and responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive security policies and procedures
  • Conduct risk assessments and analyze geopolitical risks to identify potential threats
  • Develop and manage crisis and emergency management plans
  • Coordinate and lead responses to security incidents and emergencies
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective security measures
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of security strategies and measures
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to security
  • Provide regular reports to management on security status and incidents
  • Continuously improve security strategies based on best practices and emerging trends

Qualifications

The ideal candidate (m/f/d) will possess the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Security Management, Risk Management, or a related field
  • Extensive experience in security management, risk management, geopolitical risk analysis, crisis and emergency management
  • Experience in project management, ideally in an international context
  • Very good handling with MS Office software (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
  • Business fluent English language skills (written and spoken), German is a plus
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong team player mentality and Intercultural competence
  • Willingness to travel
