What will you do?

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Cloud Security Consultant to join our Cloud Security team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Azure or AWS cloud services, with a particular focus on security, identity and access management, logging, and monitoring solutions. This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining secure and scalable architectures across a multi-tenant, multi-cloud environments.
As part of a team of security consultants and engineers, you will collaborate closely with stakeholders from our customers to understand their business and technical requirements, design and develop tailored cloud security solutions, provide technical guidance, and ensure successful implementation.
Responsibilities:

• Designing and implementing identity access management and governance strategies in the Cloud; For Azure this means: Entra ID, Privileged Identity Management (PIM), and Conditional Access policies.
• For AWS: AWS Identity and Access Management, identity federation for AWS, use of service and resource control policies, implementation of IAM policies.

• Assisting clients in leveraging cloud integrated analysis and reporting solutions to identify enable proactive threat detection, response automation, and compliance management. For example: Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Microsoft Sentinel, AWS Security Hub, Cloud Trail or other similar technologies;
• Conducting in-depth security assessments and providing recommendations for configuring clients’ cloud platforms adhering to industry best practices such as CIS Benchmarks, the Microsoft Cloud Security benchmark, and AWS Well Architected Framework. This includes evaluating and configuring IAM solutions, cloud infrastructure and native services, security monitoring, and data protection mechanisms;
• Supporting clients with the configuration and delivery of cloud security reports.
• Implementing industry-leading practices for Azure and/or AWS ensuring robust cloud security solutions for clients;
• Lead technical discussions with the client, providing security advice, and collaborating with various internal and external stakeholders in guiding and making informed decisions.

Requirements

• At least 3+ years of experience in technical consulting, security architecture, and designing solutions with a security-first approach specific to cloud environments;
• Proven expertise with Azure or AWS cloud services, including Entra ID, Microsoft Sentinel, and Microsoft Defender for Cloud (for Azure) or AWS IAM, Security Hub and CloudTrail (for AWS);
• Knowledge of security logging and monitoring solutions, and the ability to integrate and interpret logs from diverse sources;
• Experience with cloud security best practices;
• Strong documentation and reporting skills;
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with experience engaging diverse stakeholders;
• Relevant cloud certifications. For example: AZ-104, SC-300 or AZ-500, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, AWS Security Specialty, AWS Solutions Architect (any level);
• You are eligible for a NATO clearance. (see HERE for more information).

Preferred:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Information Security, Engineering, Information Technology, or related studies;
• Experience with Cloud security posture management tools (CSPM) and cloud-native application protection platforms (CNAPP);
• Familiarity with automation and scripting using Azure DevOps, Azure Functions, and Azure Logic Apps, Lambda Functions, or Terraform;
• Experience with cloud-based Kubernetes Services (AKS and EKS) and securing containerized environments;
• Experience with containerization (Kubernetes or Docker).
