Primary Objective of Position

• Ensuring that all activities are performed in compliance with quality system requirements and Abbott policies and procedures.
• Responsible for local month-end close activities including system processes, submissions, accruals.
• Performing Planning, Reporting and Analysis process for Europe Area and Business Units.
• Supporting financial IBP and LBE process for Europe Area and Business Units.
• Ensuring support for cross Division shared service responsibilities.
• Providing in-depth financial analysis when requested by key stakeholders. Generate and communicate insights and propose solutions and actions based on the analysis conducted.
• Supporting implementation of process improvements across department and work groups. Assist with training and coaching of more junior finance staff.
• Participating in various financial projects and provide information to management for decision making.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business or finance/ accounting.
• MBA/CPA/CFA or similar certifications preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial finance function.
• Advanced MS Office knowledge. Strong database skills (e.g. Cognos, Access) preferred.
• Fluent in English, local languages are nice to have.
• Strong business partner attitude to support the commercial business groups.
• Strong organizational and management skills.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Good communications skills both verbal and written.
• Customer oriented mindset.
• Strong team player.
