Your responsibilities

• You are responsible for the overall technical architecture for our any-cloud/any-device platform and lead the development in the team
• You ensure the performance and scalability of the architecture for all POS variants, taking into account the latest security standards
• You will be responsible for the technical implementation of projects, work closely with cross-functional teams and carry out architecture reviews
• You act as a technical contact and consultant for customers as well as for product management and development departments
• You will identify new technological trends and their potential for improving our POS solutions and develop long-term strategies for the technology roadmap

Your profile

• You have several years of experience in the development and architecture of one or more of the following technologies:

1. POS / cash register systems
2. Multi-cloud
3. Any-Device
4. Tooling / IDE development

• You have many years of experience with modern development methods and processes, especially in highly complex, agile environments and have in-depth knowledge of cloud-based and distributed systems
• You have the ability to lead teams and understand how to clearly communicate technical concepts and convince stakeholders
• You have experience in integrating software solutions with third-party systems and using API-based architectures
• You always keep your finger on the pulse and have in-depth knowledge of current technologies such as microservices, containerisation (e.g. Docker/Kubernetes) and cloud technologies
