Senior Manager / Director HR Communication & Change (m/f/d)
The Head of HR Communication & Change is part of the People Strategy & Culture team within Fresenius Group HR. This role is responsible for designing, implementing and overseeing initiatives that support effective employee communication, engagement and organizational change. Working closely with HR leadership, this role will manage all aspects of HR communications and change programs to ensure alignment with the organization’s values, mission, and business objectives. This role will also provide Group HR support for HR functional communication as required. Responsibilities (direct and indirect) include, but not limited to:
Your assignments
- Develop, execute and govern a comprehensive communication strategy to keep employees informed, engaged and aligned with people-related intiatives and goals.
- Draft and distribute key messages, announcements and updates in a clear, consistent and engaging way across various channels.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders, e.g., HR COE heads, CHROs, HR team members, business leaders, communication partners, etc., to provide support and ensure all Group HR communications are aligned and dissemniated as part of larger strategy, and reflect the company’s vision, tone and brand.
- Lead change management initiatives related to organizational transformation, process updates and cultural shifts.
- Design and implement change management frameworks including impact assessments, readiness plans and risk mitigation strategies.
- Develop metrics and KPIs to evaluate the effectiveness of communication and change initiatives, and provide regular insights to leadership on change adoption rates and communication effectiveness.
- Act as a change ambassador for the broader organization. Support managers and team members with building skills to lead their teams through transformation and change, and serve as advisor to leadership on communication and change management best practices.
- Provide support for internal HR communications as required, e.g., CHRO memos, HR Townhalls, HR presentations, etc.
Your profile
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or equivilant preferred
- Min. 5 years combined experience in relevant field(s), e.g., Human Resources, communications, employee engagement, and/or change management
- Proven experience managing change intiatives and developing internal communication strategies
- Knowledge of communication channel strategies, tools and platforms
- Exceptional written, verbal and presentation skills, must be fluent (oral and written) in German and English with ability to engage diverse audiences
