Senior Manager, Learning & Culture (Onboarding)

Position Summary:
As a key leader on the Learning & Culture team, you will play a pivotal role in co-creating the strategic direction and driving the end-to-end development and implementation of both Nestle+ Onboarding and key culture activations across all areas of the business to support the entire Nestle+ employee population.
Primary Responsibilities:
Onboarding:

  • Develop a culture first onboarding strategy inclusive of the first 90 days
  • Own and manage the end-to-end onboarding process, ensuring a smooth and efficient transition for new hires.
  • Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs and materials for new employee orientation, covering company policies, procedures, expectations, benefits, culture, and more.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and update onboarding content, ensuring it aligns with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of the onboarding process through feedback surveys, metrics analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Create cohesive connection between corporate & functional onboarding
  • Identify and build onboarding resources for people leaders
  • Work with key stakeholders to ensure systems & processes all connect and have a consistent experience for the new employee

Culture Embedding: Build & Maintain Key NUSA Culture initiatives

  • Develop, curate and promote a wholistic culture journey for the first 6 months of employee lifecycle, ensuring that new employees are integrated into Nestle’s value, mission, and cultural fabric such as designing onboarding programs and mentoring initiatives.
  • Leverage insights and expertise to ensure programs are aligned with Nestle’s culture and overall strategic objectives
  • Create, develop, and execute Employee Value Proposition initiatives to ensure that it accurately reflects Nestle’s culture and values and attracts top talent.
  • Audit and evaluate all human capital groups & systems to ensure the correct culture initiatives are embedded and assess the effectiveness of the existing programs and processes to ensure alignment with strategic objectives across the Nestle+ employee population.
  • Act as a strategic partner by collaborating closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure cohesive messaging and alignment with the culture. You will provide guidance and support in areas such as communications and change management to foster collaboration and synergy through Nestle+.

External Support

  • Partner with talent recruiting teams to ensure NUSA culture messaging and programs are in place for recruitment
  • Partner with communications to ensure all external messaging is consistent with the NUSA Culture

Requirements and Minimum Education Level:

  • BS/BA in Business, Learning & Development, Organization development, HR, Marketing or a related field required.
  • MS/MA/MBA is preferred.
  • Position requires up to 10% travel

Experience:

  • 7+ years in Learning and Development with emphasis on leadership development, working across all organization levels
  • 2+ years of direct experience leading direct reports in a dynamic and fast-paced corporate environment.
  • Proven demonstrated experience and success in working with ambiguity and driving results from conception to execution
  • Experience developing and delivering presentations for leadership

Skills

  • Outstanding facilitation and course design skills utilizing Instructional System Design process
  • Strong organizational and/or project management skills. Able to lead and manage the development of a strategy and project manage the deployment and delivery (Plan, organize, budget, communicate, execute, and measure).
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills
  • Strong ability to partner with and influence leadership on the importance of culture change and their role in the success of this change
  • Ability to work independently and lead/influence cross functional teams
  • Strong interpersonal skills (i.e., listening, counseling, and coaching)
  • Effective verbal and written communications skills, with an ability to impact skill acquisition, capability building, coaching, and motivation
  • Ability to build rapport with employees and vendors
  • Ability to adapt, customize, and deploy content and solutions curated from vendor partners
  • Ability to work well on cross functional project teams while executing a large-scale project from vision through implementation
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of business needs, with the ability to establish and maintain a high level of trust and confidence
  • Strong facilitation skills: Credible, transparent, High energy, enthusiastic, motivational, and engaging style
  • Excellent creative and conceptual thinking abilities
